SERI Introductory Institute

In July 2013, archivists, records managers, and IT professionals from 26 states, 4 territories, and the District of Columbia gathered for the week-long State Electronic Records Initiative (SERI) Introductory Electronic Records Institute.

The Introductory Institute, one of three electronic records institutes, was held at the Indiana State Library in Indianapolis on July 8-12, 2013 and was organized and offered by CoSA through an IMLS Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program grant.

Below you will find information and presentations on the topics that were covered.

SERI Advanced Institutes

Every state and territory had an opportunity to send a staff member to one of the advanced institutes.

States and territories were divided geographically for these institutes with state and territories east of the Mississippi River attending the institute in Richmond, VA March 31-April 4, 2014 and the states and territories west of the Mississippi attending the institute in Salt Lake City, UT October 20-24, 2014.
