Welcome to the fourth installment of the exciting activities your CoSA colleagues have planned for Archives Month 2016.
The State Archives of North Carolina has two events during Archives Month:
For Electronic Records Day NC will present a series of blog posts and Vine videos and for #AskAnArchivist Day, will take part through WebArchivist Twitter and NCArchives Twitter.
The Utah State Archives will be celebrating Archives Month by focusing on the 100th anniversary of the Utah State Capitol building. Throughout October, Utah will host speakers, upload digital collections, and post blogs that will help illuminate the important history of the home of Utah's government. A complete listing of events (as well as other Archives Month events being held throughout Utah) can be found online on the Utah Archives Month website as well as on the Utah Archives Month Facebook page.
In addition, the staff at the Utah State Archives is participating in Electronic Records Day in a couple of different ways. One will be group activities centered on providing E-records management to our own office files. The records management section is also planning on participating with blog posts on electronic records issues and the importance of electronic records management in state government.
The Washington State Archives is launching its 2016 Archives Month celebration focusing on Washington’s parks. Archives Month includes a free poster featuring classic color and black-and-white photos of various parks.
